Raised Bed Gardening

  • Raised bed gardens are created off the ground, on top of the original soil
  • They can contain the original soil
  • but in most cases, they will have imported soil from another source

What are the benefits of raised bed gardening?

The most common reason that people will start a raised bed garden is that the regular soil in the garden is of poor quality.

A raised bed garden allows them to enjoy gardening in places where they otherwise would not be able to grow anything. Some plants require very specific types of soil, and while the soil in the garden may not be of poor quality, a raised bed garden can be made to match the specific soils that are needed by these plants.
